Your AI agent codes like an intern? addyosmani/agent-skills
In short
Hidden repo of the week: addyosmani/agent-skills, about 109K stars on GitHub when I checked on Oct 21, 2026, MIT licence. It's 25 plain Markdown "skills" that teach your coding agent how a senior engineer works across define, plan, build, verify, review and ship, and it works with Claude Code, Cursor, Codex, Copilot and more. My SRE pick is observability-and-instrumentation. Its rule: "Code you can't observe is code you can't operate." Before any code, it has your agent write down the questions on-call will ask at 3 AM, then instrument for them.

Checklist: what to do about it
- Read the repo's README and licence before installing anything.
- Install the skills with the one command below.
- Start with one skill that matches a real gap (mine: observability-and-instrumentation).
- Before any new feature, have the agent list the questions on-call will ask at 3 AM.
- Make the agent add the logs, metrics or traces that answer those questions.
- Review what the agent wrote like you'd review a junior engineer's PR.
